Chile for the most stunning landscapes: from rugged mountain peaks in Patagonia to the driest desert on earth in Atacama.
Colombia for the overall mix. What a country! And the most friendly people you will ever meet.

Camera, duh! But earplugs are probably the second most important item in my bag.
Favourite travel buddy
Benjamin. He is my rock! Easygoing, enthusiast, genuinely interested in people and things. Perfect companion, and the fact that he loves driving more than me and can carry a heavier backpack than me have proven to be helpful too! Unless we’re traveling for work, we never travel without each other.
Longest time away from home
